How much does a booking cost?
All booking prices can be found under our ‘Packages’ page. We have different rates for Mondays-Thursdays and different rates for Fridays-Sundays including Bank Holidays. For bespoke services, do contact us for rates.
Why are your prices cheaper than your competitors?
We pride ourselves on making our Gaming Van affordable for all. The majority of our customers are coming through family/friends recommendations so we want everyone to get more value then what they have paid for and have an unforgettable experience.
Do I have to pay more than the prices quoted on your website?
No, our prices already include costs for staff, electricity, internet, ULEZ and congestion charges. What you pay is what you get, no extra charges.
What do I get for my money?
A fully hosted party with unlimited use of our gaming equipment for the booked time, with the latest games being played on the latest consoles. An unforgettable and unique experience is guaranteed for you and your guests.
How long does a booking last?
All of our bookings are for a minimum of 90 minutes. For events/weddings we can do a bespoke tailor made service which will be for longer period of time. Please call for more information.
How far in advance do I need to book?
To avoid disappointment, it is best to book your slot as soon as possible but always give us a call even if it’s only a couple of days before your event as we may have a slot that opens up.
When I send the booking form is my booking guaranteed?
No, your booking is only guaranteed once a member of our team calls and takes a deposit of £100 of the booking upfront. The remainder of the payment will be taken on the day of the booking. For bespoke events, we require 50% of the booking payment upfront and the remainder on the day of the event.
What happens if I need to cancel a booking after making the deposit payment?
Once a booking has been made and deposit payment has been taken then this booking is confirmed. Once a booking has been confirmed, this ensures that no-one else can take this booking slot.
What if I cancel my booking?
If cancelling within 14 days of your event, you will lose your deposit. Due to us allocating this slot for your event, we won’t be able to always find a replacement at short notice so this deposit will go towards our loss.
Do you give refunds for bookings cancelled?
No refunds for any cancellations made at all times. However, if you cancel earlier than 14 days of your event then as a gesture of goodwill, we will book in another slot for you to use within 9 months.
Do you use the customer’s electricity?
Yes we use power leads to connect to your sockets to provide seamless electricity. However in the unlikely event of your power source being unavailable then we can provide generators free of charge. (Other companies charge additional fees for this service).
Do you use the customer’s internet connection?
No, we use our own internet connection providers to provide the most suitable connection needed for our vans. We do not want to burden our customers with additional costs.
Do you cater for Weddings?
Yes, if you have a special day coming up and want to stand out from the crowd then get in touch and have us roll up in one of our gaming vans and leave all your guests in awe.
Do you host gaming tournaments?
Yes, we can host any type of gaming tournament whether it is a FIFA, Fortnite or even car gaming tournaments. Whatever the occasion, our Gaming Van will leave everyone with an unforgettable gaming experience.
How much space will you need to park?
Our Gaming Van is 8.5m long and 2.3m wide. We require atleast 2.5 car lengths to ensure that we have enough space to cater for the booking. Please see our Gallery for more information on the size of the Van.
How many people can play in your Gaming Van at any one time and are there any age restrictions?
We have enough gaming equipment for 14 players to play inside the van and also 2 players to play outside the van. Anyone under 7 may struggle with playing the games and reaching the pedals on the racing seats so all games and equipment can only be used by anyone aged 6 years and above.
Do adults have to be present inside the gaming van during the event?
No, you are free to go off and do what you want whilst we keep the children entertained, however we would need you to be able to be on standby in case of any issues.
What do you need from us?
Somewhere to park! That is it…. Oh and eager guests ready to have the time of their lives….
Will the weather affect my party?
All of our gaming vans are fully water-proof so we are not affected by rain. We also have heaters and ventilation units inside the vans to meet the ever changing weather within the UK.
Are we allowed to have food and drinks inside the Gaming Van?
No, unfortunately we do not allow food and drink on board. With the equipment being so expensive, we cannot take any risks with damage.
What if someone doesn’t know how to play a particular game?
Our professional staff will always be on hand to help out and make sure that all guests know how to play games. At Gaming Van Royale, you’re guaranteed to have someone with years of experience in gaming to help your guests at all times.
What games do you have onboard?
We carry a wide selection of games differing in age ratings from Fifa, Minecraft and Mario games to Halo and Call of Duty and everything in between. We buy all the latest and greatest games as they come out. If there’s a game you particularly would like to play on board just give us a call to find out if we have it and if not, we will try and get it if we feel it is suitable. If for whatever reason we don’t have a game that you want to play but you do, you’re more than welcome to bring it on board the vehicle. Our staff will make sure that it is handed back at the end of the party (as we know kids can be forgetful).
What if I damage equipment inside the van?
At all times we will do our best to not charge customers for accidental damage if that occurs. Our insurance will cover most things but if there is deliberate damage then of course we will be expected to be recompensed for any costs that insurance does not cover.
