Q. How much does a booking cost?

A. All booking prices can be found under our ‘Packages’ page. We have rates for Mondays-Thursdays and different rates for Fridays-Sundays & Bank Holidays.

Q.  What do I get for my money?

A. A fully hosted party with unlimited use of our gaming equipment for the booked time, with the latest games being played on the latest consoles.

Q. How long does a booking last?

A. All of our bookings are for a minimum of 120 minutes. For events/weddings we can do a bespoke tailor made service which will be for longer. Please call for more information.

Q. Do you cater for Weddings?

A. Yes, if you have a special day coming up and want to stand out from the crowd then get in touch and have us roll up in one of our gaming vans and leave all your guests in awe.

Q. Do you host gaming tournaments?

A. Yes, we can host any type of gaming tournament whether it is a FIFA, Fortnite or even a Car Gaming tournament between your friends, guests or work colleagues. Whatever the occasion, our Gaming Van will leave everyone with an unforgettable gaming experience.

Q. How much space will you need to park?

A. Our Gaming Van is 8.5m long and 2.3m wide. We require 3 car lengths to ensure that we have enough space to cater for the booking. Please see our Gallery for more information.

Q. How many people can play in your Gaming Van at any one time and are there any age restrictions?

A. We have enough gaming equipment for 14 players to play inside the van and also 6 players to play outside the van. Anyone under 7 may struggle with playing the games and reaching the pedals on the racing seats so all games and equipment can only be used by anyone from 7+ years of age.

Q. Do adults have to be present at the children’s party?

A. No, you are free to go off and do what you want whilst we keep the children entertained.

Q. What do you need from us?

A. Somewhere to park! That is it…. Oh and eager guests ready to have the times of their lives…. 

Q. Will the weather affect my party?

A. All of our gaming vans are fully water-proof so we are not affected by rain. We also have heaters and air conditioning units inside the vans to meet the ever changing weather within the UK.

Q.  How far in advance do I need to book?

A.  To avoid disappointment, it is best to book your slot as soon as possible but always give us a call even if it’s only a couple of days before your event as we may have a slot that opens up.

Q. When I send the booking form is my booking guaranteed?

A. No, your booking is only guaranteed once a member of our team calls and takes payment for 50% of the booking upfront. The remaining 50% of the payment will be taken on the day of the booking.

Q. What happens if I need to cancel a booking after making half the payment?

A. Once a booking has been made and payment has been taken then this booking is confirmed. Once a booking has been confirmed, this ensures that no-one else can take this booking slot and as we do get booked out quickly. If you need to cancel a booking then we require a 14 days’ notice period. You will lose your 50% deposit if cancelling within 14 days of your event taking place. You can cancel the booking any time before 14 days of your event and as a gesture of good-will, we offer a 3 month period in which you can re-book.

Q. Do you give refunds for bookings made?

A. No, unfortunately, we cannot refund for bookings cancelled within 14 days of taking place. Due to late cancellations, we may not always be able to cover the available slots.

Q. Are we allowed to have food and drinks inside the Gaming Van?

A. No, unfortunately we do not allow food and drink on board. With the equipment being so expensive, we cannot take any risks with damage.

Q. What if someone doesn’t know how to play a particular game?

A. Our professional staff will always be on hand to help out and make sure that all guests know how to play games. At Gaming Van Royale, you’re guaranteed to have someone with years of experience in gaming to help your guests at all times.

Q. What games do you have onboard?

A. We carry a wide selection of games differing in age ratings from Fifa, Minecraft and Mario games to Halo and Call of Duty and everything in between. We buy all the latest and greatest games as they come out. If there’s a game you particularly would like to play onboard just give us a call to find out if we have it and if not, we will try and get it if we feel it is suitable. If for whatever reason we don’t have a game that you want to play but you do, you’re more than welcome to bring it onboard the vehicle. Our staff will make sure that it is handed back at the end of the party (as we know kids can be forgetful).
